Scott Hawig, CPA, CMA, MBA, executive vice president of Finance, chief financial and administrative officer and treasurer, is responsible for all strategic and operational matters related to finance and administration for the health system including financial planning and budgeting, financial reporting, decision support, revenue cycle management, managed care contracting, insurance products and risk, supply chain operations, facilities planning and plant operations, information technology and strategic initiatives.
Hawig comes to Froedtert Health from Duke University Health System, Durham, North Carolina, where he served as the executive leader over the health system's revenue cycle organization. In this role, he managed more than $2.8 billion in net revenue for three hospitals (including a large academic medical center,) a 1,300-member faculty practice plan and a primary care group.
He previously served as vice president of finance at Shands HealthCare at the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida.
Hawig received his master's in business administration from Duke University and bachelor's in business administration in accounting and finance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
